John Feinstein, Chairman
Mr. Feinstein is a political and sports reporter for The Washington Post, and the
author of a number of best-selling books, including "Caddy for Life: The Bruce
Edwards Story." The book, written at the request of Bruce Edwards, details his
extraordinary life and his struggle with ALS. Mr. Feinstein has served as director
for several nonprofit organizations, including the Children's Charities Foundation.
Tom
Watson, Honorary Chairman
One of the all-time greatest players in the history of professional golf, Tom Watson holds
39 PGA Tour titles and eight Champions Tour wins. During a career spanning more
than 35 years, Watson won eight majors in eight years, including five British Opens,
two Masters, and one U.S. Open. He joined the Senior Tour in 1999, and has won four
Senior major tournaments. He has been awarded the Bob Jones Award for distinguished
service in golf, was named PGA Player of the Year six times, and has been inducted into
the World Golf Hall of Fame.

Michael Brown
Mr. Brown is a founding member and President of Brown + Partners, a print management
company, and was recently honored as one of Philadelphia's rising business and
professional leaders. Mr. Brown served on the Board of Directors of the Golf
Association of Philadelphia, the MS Society of Philadelphia, the Police Athletic League,
the John Dyniewski Foundation and others.
Gwyn Edwards Dieterle
Ms. Dieterle is a marketing and public relations professional with more than 15 years
experience in agency and corporate sectors. Her strategic PR counsel and expertise
in sports marketing, special event coordination and newsletter and collateral
material development have supported clients as diverse as Delta Air Lines, The
Atlanta Braves, The Athlete's Foot, Russell Athletic, Parker Bros. Inc., and Turner
Broadcasting System.
William Leahey
Mr. Leahey is a Senior Vice President at Smith Barney, one of the world's leading
financial institutions. Mr. Leahey has overseen portfolios for many nonprofits, such
as the Ronald McDonald House, as well as for private companies. He currently serves
as a Trustee and the co-Treasurer of the Pascale-Sykes Foundation, which promotes the
well-being of low-income families.
Michael Krzyzewski
Mr. Krzyzewski has been the coach of Duke University's Men's Basketball team for 25 years,
and has been named "America's Best Coach" by Time and CNN. He is
a best-selling author and a faculty member of Duke's Fuqua School of Business. Mr.
Krzyzewski is Chairman of the Board of the Emily Krzyzewski Family Life Center, a
community center, and an active supporter of the Children's Miracle Network, The V
Foundation, Comprehensive Cancer Center and NBA Coaches vs. Cancer.
Neil Oxman, Esq.
Mr. Oxman is an attorney and President of The Campaign Group, a political consulting
firm. Mr. Oxman has served as a member of the Board of Trustees of the Free Library
of Philadelphia, the Foundation Board of the Free Library of Pennsylvania, the Fund for
Philadelphia, the Gladwyne Free Library, and the National Constitution Center.
Michael I. Sanders, Esq.
Mr. Sanders is the head of the Tax Department of the law firm Powell Goldstein, LLP, and
an adjunct professor at George Washington University Law Center and Georgetown University
Law School. Named by the Washington Business Journal as one of the city's
Top Ten Lawyers, Mr. Sanders also advises nonprofit organizations and has served as
director of the Children's Charities Foundation.
Dennis Satyshur
Mr. Satyshur is the Director of Golf Operations at the Caves Valley Golf Club in Owings
Mill, Maryland. He is responsible for coordinating all aspects of the Bruce Edwards
Celebrity Golf Classic, the primary fundraising vehicle for the Bruce Edwards ALS Research
Foundation. He has extensive experience in coordinating and conducting fundraising
events for numerous organizations and nonprofits.
Vivian R. Thompson-Goldstein
Ms. Thompson-Goldstein is the President and CEO of Vivian Thompson Associates, a
full-service event management organization which develops and implements special events
for private and special interest groups, corporations and nonprofits. She has worked
on a variety of major events, such as the XFL, the Gravity Games, the Times Square New
Year's Eve Celebration and commencement ceremonies for several major universities and
colleges. She is the Executive Director for the Children's Charities Foundation.
Robert Zurfluh
Mr. Zurfluh is the Assistant Director of Athletics, Marketing and Promotions at George
Washington University. He has held positions as the Director of Promotions for the
Madison Square Garden Center, Director of PR at the Capital Centre, Assistant General
Manager of the Washington Bullets, and Senior VP of the MCI Center. Mr. Zurfluh as
also served on the Board of Directors of the Washington Board of Trade, the Prince
George's Chamber of Commerce and the Prince George's Convention and Visitors
Bureau. |
